Wide and anamorphic, this piece uses the Giant Forest trail as a stage — framing a family moving through the trees to give the sequoias a sense of scale that empty landscape shots rarely achieve. The horizontal stretch of the anamorphic format was chosen specifically to hold as much of the canopy as possible in a single frame.
